Dr. Michaela Holland
PT, DPT
Dr. Michaela Holland received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California at Berkeley. During her time at Cal, she played for years of NCAA D1 lacrosse and coached youth club lacrosse in the Bay area. Michaela went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. While completing her degree, Michaela obtained valuable clinical experience completing rotations in both inpatient neurological rehabilitation and outpatient orthopedic settings. Upon graduation, she worked in outpatient orthopedics treating a variety of conditions and patient populations across the lifespan.
Michaela was first introduced to physical therapy after suffering an ACL injury while playing lacrosse in high school. Her experience going through the rehab process allows her to relate and connect with her patients. Michaela believes in empowering her patients to take an active role in their recovery while tailoring treatment in order to meet individualized goals and allow them to return to activities they love. She enjoys treating athletes from all backgrounds and levels with a special interest in field sports.
Outside of the clinic, Michaela enjoys strength training, rock climbing, snowboarding and relaxing on the beach.
