Dr. Nathan Stern
PT, DPT, CSCS, USAW
Dr. Nathan Stern started his career working with athletes by obtaining a bachelors and masters degree in sports science from Western Washington University and the University of Konstanz respectively. He then went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. While there, he secured a rotation with the clinic that services Seattle’s professional soccer team, which built on 12 years of personal competitive soccer participation.
Nathan then worked in a clinic that served sporting populations and especially distance runners. He has performed 100s of gait analyses, learned from world-leading clinicians and researchers in the running field, and wrote an extensive research review on running gait biomechanics. Being a certified strength and conditioning and Olympic lifting coach (CSCS and USAW) he is able meet the needs of diverse athletes types to provide the highest level of care. He has additional special interests in strength sports, rock climbing, and grappling martial arts.
As a healthcare provider Nathan feels the utmost responsibility to provide excellent care; to do this he uses evidence-based strategies, as well as a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
